Check out Tony Sartori's NHL best bets with anytime goalscorer picks for Tuesday, May 14.

NHL games tonight include two key matchups as the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs continues on. I have two NHL anytime goalscorer picks for today's doubleheader with Bruins vs. Panthers Game 5 (7 p.m. ET) and Canucks vs. Oilers Game 4 (9:30 p.m. ET).

Betting on NHL anytime goalscorers is simple enough: If your player scores a goal at any point in the game, your bet is a winner. MLB has its dingers; the NHL has its anytime goalscorers. And with both types of player props, the bets usually come with plus-money odds attached to them, so they're a favorite among all types of sports bettors.

Check out all of the analysis with my favorite anytime goalscorer predictions for tonight's NHL postseason action below.

Bruins vs. Panthers

Tuesday, May 14
7 p.m. ET
ESPN & ESPN+
Aleksander Barkov (+230 at BetMGM)

Game 5 of this second-round series between the Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins kicks off Tuesday's NHL doubleheader.

Florida forward Aleksander Barkov has had his fingerprints all over this series, scoring three goals over the past three games while adding four assists over that stretch.

At +230, it is worth making a wager on that success to continue. Yes, Boston is a tough team to score against, but Barkov has done so six times over the past nine meetings.

Furthermore, goaltender Jeremy Swayman is starting to feel the pressure of the abundance of shots the Panthers are getting on net. Swayman has now allowed three or more goals in three straight games, posting a 0-3 record over that stretch with a fade-worthy .875 SV% and 4.57 GAA.

Pick: Aleksander Barkov (+230 at BetMGM)

Canucks vs. Oilers

Tuesday, May 14
9:30 p.m. ET
ESPN & ESPN+
Brock Boeser (+180 at BetMGM)

The second contest of Tuesday's doubleheader features the Edmonton Oilers hosting the Vancouver Canucks in Game 4 of this Western Conference series.

While J.T. Miller has been the best "all-around" forward for Vancouver this postseason, Boeser has been the team's best goalscorer and has scored seven times over the past seven games.

This success could continue in Game 4, considering that he has scored 13 goals over the past 18 meetings between these two teams.

Furthermore, I don't trust goaltender Stuart Skinner at all. Over his past four starts, Skinner possesses a fade-worthy .810 SV% and 4.02 GAA.

Not that this blue line is doing him any justice, given that Edmonton ranks in the bottom half among the eight remaining playoff teams in expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60) at 5-on-5.

Pick: Brock Boeser (+180 at BetMGM)
