Fanatics Refer a Friend Bonus August 2026

$100 FanCash Per Friend

Fanatics Sportsbook gives both you and your friend $100 in FanCash when they join through your referral link and complete at least $20 in qualifying cash wagers. You can get paid for five successful referrals, so there’s up to $500 in FanCash available for your account.

There’s no promo code to enter. Your friend just needs to start their signup through your unique referral link for Fanatics to track it.

If you’re the one opening a new account, take a minute to compare the referral with the other Fanatics Sportsbook promo code offers before registering. The referral only requires $20 in qualifying wagers, but Fanatics has signup offers with bigger rewards and different requirements which may suit what you're looking for.

How to Refer a Friend on the Fanatics Sportsbook App

The process starts inside your Fanatics account, not with a code your friend types in later.

    1. Sign in to Fanatics Sportsbook.
    2. Go to Promotions and open Refer a Friend.
    3. Generate your personal referral link.
    4. Send that link directly to your friend.
    5. Your friend follows it to create and verify a new Fanatics Sportsbook account.
    6. They fund the account and complete at least $20 in qualifying cash wagers.
    7. After the qualifying wagers settle, allow up to 72 hours for the referral FanCash to reach both accounts.

Make sure your friend uses the link from the beginning. Creating the account first and trying to attach a referral afterward can leave you with a tracking problem that's much harder to sort out. We also recommend you save a screenshot of the offer before they register. Promo terms can change, and having the version attached to the referral gives you something concrete to reference if the reward doesn’t show up when expected.

What Counts Toward the $20 Requirement?

Your friend doesn’t need to put the entire $20 on one bet. The requirement is cumulative, so two qualifying $10 cash wagers can get them there just as well. The important part is using cash, as Bonus Bets and other promotional credits don’t count toward a cash-wager requirement.

You may see a -500 minimum attached to some Fanatics signup offers, including the "Bet $20, Get $350 in FanCash!" promo, but that restriction isn't part of the the referral offer. Check the terms shown under Refer a Friend before placing the qualifying wagers, especially if the account shows any extra odds or market rules.

    Fanatics Referral Rules

The referral program is for new Fanatics Sportsbook customers. Each friend can qualify for one referral reward, and you can earn rewards for up to five successful referrals during the promotional period. Fanatics may cancel promotional rewards if it finds duplicate accounts, fraud or other attempts to misuse the offer. Keep your referral link private and send it directly to people you know, as posting it publicly or using it for commercial purposes could affect eligibility.

On the other hand, your friend’s cash wagers must settle before they count toward the $20 requirement. Voided bets and wagers that are cashed out early generally won’t qualify. Lastly, once the FanCash is credited, you can’t withdraw it as cash. You can convert it to Bonus Bets or use it toward eligible Fanatics purchases, depending on the options available in your account.

How Does the $100 FanCash Reward Work?

FanCash isn’t cash you can withdraw directly, but you can use it in two ways: convert it into Bonus Bets or apply it toward eligible Fanatics purchases.

When you convert FanCash into Bonus Bets, the original stake isn’t returned with a winning bet. For instance, a $20 Bonus Bet at +100 would return $20 in winnings, not $40. The $20 promotional stake is used up when you place the bet.

Bonus Bets also expire, so check the deadline after converting your FanCash. The same applies to promotional FanCash, which may have its own expiration date. Check the reward details when the credit appears in your account.

You can also use FanCash toward eligible merchandise on Fanatics.com. Using the same email address for your sportsbook and Fanatics accounts can make it easier to connect the balances because, if the accounts use different details, Fanatics may require them to be linked or combined before you can use the reward across its products.

This Week's Games and Your Friend's Qualifying Bet

Your friend only earns the $100 once they put $20 in cumulative cash wagers through the sportsbook, and late August keeps the board busy. Baseball is on every day right now, with the regular season pushing toward the playoff races and no shortage of moneylines, run lines, and totals to pick from any night. Plus, the Dodgers and Braves close out the week with a three-game set in Atlanta, which is a national matchup worth a look if your friend wants something bigger than a random weeknight game.

Football is heating up alongside it. The NFL preseason is in its back half, with the final week of exhibition games closing out the month before the regular season kicks off in early September. Preseason lines behave differently since starters play limited snaps, so if your friend is new to betting, a simple baseball moneyline is an easier way to clear the $20 than a preseason spread.

Two things to keep in mind: the qualifying wagers have to be cash bets at odds of -500 or longer, and they can be split across a few smaller bets instead of one $20 ticket. Once those settle, the $100 FanCash posts to both accounts within 72 hours.

Where Is the Fanatics Refer a Friend Bonus Available?

The Fanatics referral offer is currently available in AZ, CO, CT, DC, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, VT, WV and WY.

Kansas, Massachusetts and Missouri aren’t included, even though Fanatics Sportsbook operates in each state. Massachusetts is specifically excluded from the referral program, though the terms are less clear for Kansas and Missouri, so check the Promotions section in your account before sending a referral link.

Remember: your friend must be a new Fanatics Sportsbook customer and meet the age and location requirements where they live.

Should Your Friend Take the Referral or a Fanatics Welcome Offer?

The referral has a lower betting requirement and pays both of you, but another Fanatics promos may be worth more your friend plans to keep betting.

The referral is the simplest option. Your friend needs to complete $20 in qualifying cash wagers, and you both receive $100 in FanCash. That may be enough for someone who wants to place a few bets without committing to a longer promotion.

The $1,000 FanCash offer has more upside, but the full amount takes work. The new user needs to place a qualifying wager on eligible days during the first 10 days, so someone who only bets occasionally may earn far less than the maximum.

The $350 FanCash offer has a lower time commitment. One qualifying $20 wager starts the promotion, but Fanatics pays the reward in seven $50 FanCash rather than all at once.

All in all, the best choice depends on how much your friend expects to bet. The referral fits someone who wants a smaller requirement and a reward for both accounts, the $1,000 offer suits a more active bettor who plans to use Fanatics across several days, and the $350 offer works for someone who prefers one qualifying wager.

Keep in mind Fanatics may restrict customers from combining signup promotions, so your friend should choose the offer before registering, since switching promotions after the account is open may not be possible.

    Responsible Gambling and Referral Bonuses

A referral reward should never be the reason someone opens a sportsbook account. Your friend should sign up only if they already want to bet and feel comfortable doing so. And, even though the $20 requirement is small, it still shouldn’t lead anyone to wager more than planned. The same applies to your own referrals: there’s no need to chase all five rewards or keep sending links to people who weren’t interested in betting.

Fanatics lets you set deposit and wager limits, take a time-out or close your account through its responsible gaming tools. Those options can help if betting starts taking more money or time than you intended.

You can also find extra support through Action Network’s responsible gambling guide.

Fanatics Sportsbook Refer a Friend Bonus FAQs
Can I combine the Fanatics referral bonus with a welcome offer?

Usually, no. Fanatics may limit which signup promotions can be used together, and the offer selected during registration can affect the reward you get. Compare the referral and welcome offers before your friend opens the account.

Why aren’t Kansas, Massachusetts and Missouri on the referral-state list?

Fanatics Sportsbook operates in all three states, but the referral offer isn’t listed for them. Massachusetts is specifically excluded. If you’re in Kansas or Missouri, open the Promotions section in your account and check whether Refer a Friend is available before sending your link.

Can I use referral FanCash for Fanatics merchandise?

Yes. Eligible FanCash can go toward purchases on Fanatics, or you can convert it into sportsbook Bonus Bets. Using the same email address for your Fanatics accounts can make it easier to use sportsbook-earned FanCash on merchandise.

What if my referral FanCash doesn’t show up?

Allow up to 72 hours after the qualifying wagers settle. If the reward still hasn’t appeared, check the referral status in your account and contact support. Keep a screenshot of the offer terms and your referral link handy in case Fanatics needs to confirm that the signup tracked correctly.
