Grammy Awards Odds: Best Music Film Predictions

Music By John Williams Best Music Film Odds

Music By John Williams is a documentary that tells the story of the life and career of composer John Williams, with the film's music composed by the man himself.

Williams is one of the most prolific composers in Hollywood history, having composed music for the Star Wars films, Indiana Jones films, and E.T. — just to name a few. This Laurent Bouzereau-directed film serves as a testament to the body of work of the 93-year-old Williams.

Piece by Piece Best Music Film Odds

Far off from a traditional documentary, Piece by Piece chronicles the life of famed producer and composer Pharrell Williams and is directed by documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville.

Williams' songs are prominently featured in the film, which features Lego animation to tell the producer's story as he interacts with his Neptunes co-founder Chad Hugo, as well as prominent musicians Pusha T, Missy Elliott, Kendrick Lamar, and others. Very few films have undertaken the arduous process of Lego animation, and Piece by Piece serves as the first instance of a non-fiction feature film going this route.

Live At The Royal Albert Hall Best Music Film Odds

Live At The Royal Albert Hall is a departure from the two other films that Kalshi ranks above it. It is a "live album" performed by the English singer-songwriter Raye at the Royal Albert Hall in London and broadcast in January 2024.

The live performance of the album, titled My 21st Century Blues, reinvented the original work by introducing symphonic accompaniment to Raye's vocals, giving audiences an entirely different experience from the traditional album, which was released about 11 months before the film's first broadcast.
