Boston Red Sox Betting Preview
The Red Sox (73-61) take on the Yankees (76-58) in Game 2 of this doubleheader. We just saw New York beat Boston 1-0 on Friday night thanks to 5.2 scoreless innings from Cam Schlittler and the Yankees' bullpen.
While it isn't yet confirmed, since I'm writing this article before we know the results of Game 1, Brayan Bello is expected to get the start for the Red Sox in this one, or at least work in bulk relief.
New York Yankees Betting Preview
The Yankees are countering with Max Fried, who is making his first start since August 13th after dealing with a bone bruise in his elbow. Given that was a short, two-week absence, and that Fried threw 88 pitches in that last outing, it's unlikely we see too much of a restriction on his workload here.
I'd bet that Fried goes 75-80 pitches, which should be enough for close to six innings in this one.

I'm going with Under 7.5 in the Red Sox/Yankees Game 2.
For one, Brayan Bello has been highly effective lately, allowing a combined four earned runs in his last eight appearances, spanning 29.1 innings.
On the other side, Max Fried has been excellent all year long, even though he's dealt with injuries, as highlighted by a 2.53 xERA.
Then you add in the fact that we're getting favorable weather conditions, with forecasts calling for 77-degree temperatures.
I like that we're getting around -105 on this Under, so we'll bet on a low-scoring game in this pitching matchup.
