Red Sox vs Pirates Prediction, Pick
This isn't a terrible spot, but these odds are priced like it's one of the worst matchups possible.
Pirates starter Bubba Chandler has been a good pitcher this season, but he's been an average matchup for lefty power and is due for some negative regression.
This ballpark is below average for lefty power hitters like Wilyer Abreu, but it's an upgrade from Fenway.

After a rough start to the season, Tyler O'Neill has been hitting the ball much better recently, and he gets a great spot tonight.
Rays SP Steven Matz will be opening the game, with Jesse Scholtens likely going in for long relief, both of whom are great matchups for righty power.
Scholtens has given up a massive 2.47 HR/9 to righties in his career, and Matz has given up a huge 2.16 HR/9 to righties this season.

This price is too high given the spot. Mets starter Robert Stock is a 36-year-old journeyman who has been in and out of the majors his whole career.
We don't have a huge sample size on him in the majors, but he grades out as a matchup well above average for lefties like CJ Abrams.
