Frank Ammirante's Phillies vs Braves Best Bet
I like the value on the Braves as home underdogs here.
For one, Sanchez hasn't been as effective in the second half, putting up a 3.39 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP. He's also worse on the road (.335 wOBA) than at home (.269 wOBA). When he faced the Braves on September 4th, he allowed three earned runs in six innings.
On the other side, Mahle has dominated the Phillies. He faced them in back-to-back outings in September, allowing a combined one earned run in 13 innings. It's clear he's found a groove in Atlanta.
On top of that, we just saw Jhoan Duran pitch two innings (27 pitches) in Game 1. He may be gassed and less effective if called upon in this one.
To that end, we'll ride with the Braves to sweep the series here.

The "Under in Key Playoff Matchups" system targets unders in tightly matched postseason games, particularly non-division showdowns where unfamiliarity and pressure dampen scoring, which is the case for this White Sox vs. Astros matchup.
This system exploits overinflated playoff totals where offenses cool under the spotlight.

Tony Sartori's Red Sox vs Yankees Best Bet
By Tony Sartori
Max Fried has dominated Boston throughout his career, a trend that is unlikely to change in Game 2. Through eight career meetings, Fried is 4-1 with a 1.68 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP.
The current Red Sox roster owns a mere .212 xBA and a .302 xSLG in 146 combined plate appearances against Fried.
With the better lineup, starting pitcher, and home-field advantage, the Yankees are the team to back once again.

BARTOLO shows solid value on the total for this matchup, with a 7.5% edge on the under.
It projects the Cubs for 3.06 runs and the Padres for 3.25 tonight, bringing the total (6.32) well under the 7.5 line.

Charlie Wright's Cubs vs Padres Prop Pick
It's desperation time for the Cubs after getting hammered by the Padres last night.
Manager Craig Counsell described the pitching plans like this: "We just got to figure out how to get 27 outs, and the order that that happens — starter, reliever, closer, setup man — those words don’t matter."
I'm not expecting Kevin Gausman's leash to be long at all. He'd have to pitch well and be efficient.
Counsell probably won't let him face the order a third time, regardless of the results. San Diego ranked top 4 in OPS, wOBA, and wRC+ vs. righties in September.
