Javier has put up a remarkable 17-5 NRFI record this season to go along with a 10–3 record on the road. This accomplishment now places Javier's total at 21-5 for road NRFIs since 2022.
His NRFI success largely stems from his ability to handle batting order splits. In 2023, he's limited leadoff hitters to a mere .186 average and has allowed only 11 hits across 59 at-bats when facing Marlins hitters. Josh Bell (0-for-5), Joey Wendle (0-for-4), Jake Burger (0-for-1), and Luis Arraez (1-for-2) have all more or less been held in check by Javier.
