There are 15 games on tap throughout the day, which could make plenty of opportunities to sweat some MLB props while you watch the Masters.

As of writing, there's just one prop I am considering, but I might add more in the Action App as more props are released.

MLB Player Props: Saturday, April 13

There aren't many strikeout props that stand out today, but right now, there's at least one:

  • Orioles @ Red Sox : 1:05 p.m. ET

Our FantasyLabs MLB Player Props Tool leverages our projections against odds offered at various sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of 1 to 10. All odds as of 12 p.m. ET. View live odds here.

Orioles SP Andrew Cashner

THE PICK: Under 3.0 strikeouts (-114)

Three strikeouts aren't that many, but for Cashner, it might be.

Over the past year, he's sporting an abysmal 5.38 K/9. And last season he had a putrid 14.5% strikeout rate and 6.8% swinging-strike rate, per FanGraphs.

He's also taking on a Red Sox team that has a strikeout rate of just 18.1% against right-handed pitchers over the past 12 months — the lowest mark of the day.

The main drawback is three strikeouts could set him up for a push, but if he struggles, maybe he gets pulled early. He's pitched 5.1 innings or fewer in two of this three starts so far this season.

A low-strikeout pitcher against a low-strikeout team that's implied for 6.8 runs should be a recipe for success. I wouldn't lay any more juice than -120 on this.
