T. Harris ⬆️ 1.5 Assists (+100 @ BetMGM) THE BOUNCE 📽️: 2.06 Asts Tobias Harris is in a favorable spot to surpass 1.5 assists in this matchup despite Orlando’s reputation for limiting assist totals. Harris has cleared this line in 4 of his last 6 games and an impressive 10 of his last 12, showcasing a consistent ability to hit this mark. A key factor contributing to this value is the matchup. The Orlando Magic have allowed the fewest assists per game in the league, which could explain why sportsbooks are offering a favorable price on this prop. However, Harris' underlying metrics remain strong, averaging 3.4 potential assists per game over his last 5 and 3.8 over his last 10. These numbers suggest he has been creating opportunities relatively consistently, and with even modest efficiency, he should clear this line.

Duren has a tough matchup to start the Year against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are excellent defending on the interior which is where Duren gets the large majority of his points and they also limit opponents on the glass. Orlando also generates a lot of fouls, which is an area Duren has struggled with this season averaging 3.2 per game. If Duren gets in foul trouble 4+ fouls, he only hits this 18.5 line in 36% of games this season. In the one matchup earlier this year, Duren recorded just 7 points and 4 rebounds in 25 minutes. This 18.5 line falls in line with his season average; however, this matchup gives more reasons for downside than upside.

Duren is averaging 18.4 points & rebounds per game this season, so we’re getting him at his season average despite this being a below-average matchup. Magic rank 3rd in defensive rating, allow the fewest rebounds per game (40.3) and 2nd fewest points per game (103.5). Magic also allow the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing centers and have been tough on that position. Duren has been in good form lately so playing this at half a unit to minimize risk. Worth noting Anthony Black is questionable and when he missed last game the Magic went with a Goga/WCJ double-big lineup. If he misses again they could go that route which may help us.
