The Wolves face off against the Lakers on Friday night in a showdown between two of the game’s best in Luka and Ant Man. Anthony Edwards has improved each and every year in the league while continuing to add elements to his game and no we get a chance to bet that growth tonight. He performed well from a RA perspective against the Lakers last season averaging 7.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. The scoring was a bit inconsistent; however, this current Lakers team without LeBron and without AD is simply not as versatile defensively. Jimmy Butler destroyed them in the opener and got to the rim with ease and they were highly susceptible to the 3 ball as well, both areas where Ant excels. This is a great chance to couple the consistent RA with an anticipated pop in his scoring.
