The Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks will square off in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The game will broadcast live on NBC and Peacock.

76ers vs Knicks NBA Preview
We're back! For the first time in over half a decade, it's ring night for the Knicks, who will hang their third championship banner and — stop me if you've heard this one million times since June — celebrate their first title in 53 years.
The 76ers don't care at all — and, as expected, they're the ones opposite New York as the prohibitive favorites to win the East alongside the defending champions.
No major injuries to report, although one key Knick and several Sixers popped up on the report.
Josh Hart was listed, but Mike Brown insists that he isn't worried about the do-it-all running back (non-typo, complementary) missing opening night.
For the Sixers, it's already a loaded injury report, right back where we left off.
Anfernee Simons (hamstring) and Adem Bona (foot) both practiced through their listed injuries on Sunday. Dean Wade (ankle), Tacko Fall (hip) and Dominick Barlow (back) all sat Monday's practice.
Ariel Hukporti, who defected from the Knicks to the 76ers this summer, is out for the season (Achilles).
76ers vs Knicks Pick, Betting Analysis
VJ Edgecombe is going to be a player I'll be watching closely this season. His year two trajectory is still, even with LeBron James and Joel Embiid, central to the present and future of the 76ers.
Edgecombe has the game, attributes and mentality to be a do-it-all wing — and I expect him to be somewhat of a "dirty work" guy if the 76ers are whole, but elevate closer to his potential on nights they aren't.
We anticipate the Sixers being whole in this game, at least as it relates to their starting five. So, projecting Edgecombe's scoring will be difficult. But his rebounds and assists? I'd anticipate a decent floor.
I like VJ to get eight or more RA against the Knicks. But for a better number, I'll parlay Edgecombe to record 5+ boards and over 2.5 assists on DraftKings at +148.
