The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs will square off in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET from Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. The game will broadcast live on NBC and Peacock.

The Spurs are 1.5-point favorites over the Thunder on the spread, with the over/under set at 231.5 total points. San Antonio is a -118 moneyline favorite to win outright, while Oklahoma City is a -102 underdog to pull off the upset.

Let's get into my Thunder vs. Spurs predictions and NBA picks for Tuesday, October 20.

Thunder vs Spurs NBA Preview

We finally have confirmation that Dylan Harper is moving into the Spurs' starting lineup alongside De'Aaron Fox, Devin Vassell, Stephon Castle, and Victor Wembanyama.

I know there are conversations about whether Julian Champagnie should take Vassell's spot for spacing, or if Harper should just take Fox's spot entirely — but regardless of how long this specific five-man group stays together, this move needed to happen.

Harper is simply too good to continue bringing off the bench. He made that clear during the NBA Finals, he made that clear during the playoffs, and frankly, he showed it at times during the regular season.

That is why he is starting now. When Harper plays, he gets massive usage. As long as he is a starter this season, I fully expect him to be second in usage for this entire Spurs team behind only Wembanyama.

This is also a rivalry matchup where Harper has historically had some very solid games against this Thunder squad.

Thunder vs Spurs Pick, Betting Analysis

This play is all about looking at early-season numbers that are simply set too low.

If Dylan Harper is going to start and command the usage I expect, don't we think he is going to average significantly more than 24.5 PRA over the course of the season?

If Harper is as good in his second year as we all think he is, we are starting off way too low here.

I am projecting what I expect from Harper's baseline production during the year, and I am jumping on this prop immediately because I don't know how much longer he is going to live in the low-20s for PRA projections.

This number probably won't be available for long.

Pick: Dylan Harper Over 24.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists (-115)
