Heat vs Celtics NBA Preview
The Heat did nothing at the NBA trade deadline.
So, they are mostly healthy today after multiple possibly deadline related absences last time out.
The Celtics dumped Xavier Tillman to save some money, and they also moved Anfernee Simons for Nikola Vucevic.
But this is a rivalry, the Celtics seemingly got better, and Miami… is still Miami. For better or worse (it's not for better).
For the Heat, Tyler Herro (ribs) and Terry Rozier (feds) are out.
For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum (Achilles) is out.
Heat vs Celtics Predictions, Betting Analysis
Bam Adebayo over 1.5 three-pointers made is my look.
Norman Powell and Andrew Wiggins are off the injury report, and both of them out there should help Adebayo's gravity.
Bam went over 1.5 threes in nine of his last 13 games, and his volume declined to three three-point attempts in each of the last two games, which is worth mentioning, but I don't think that's indicative of another downturn.
Adebayo has made two or more threes (two exactly) in four straight matchups against Vucevic, and the Celtics allow north of 40 three-point attempts per 100 possessions, which is the third-highest mark in the league.
