NBA 3-Point Prop Picks Today: 3 Best Bets, 13-1 Parlay Friday
Our picks feature a breakout Hawks performer, a young Bulls sharpshooter, and a seasoned veteran on the Trail Blazers.
Starting things off in the Hoosier state, let's take a look at Dyson Daniels' line of 0.5 threes made. PRO projects him at 1.15 threes in Indy tonight, giving his over a 28.3% edge on bet365's price of +150.
Originally acquired in the trade that sent Dejounte Murray to New Orleans, the reigning NBA Most Improved Player is looking to further his development on a promising Hawks team. Daniels has gotten off to a slow scoring start this season averaging just 5.4 points per game on 31.4% shooting. Part of his slow start can be attributed to the slashing of his 3-point volume, down to 0.6 attempts this year from 3.1 last season. However, against a Pacers team that will be tough on Atlanta's first couple of options, Daniels might get the ball beyond the arc more in an attempt to shake things up.
Moving a few hours northwest to the United Center, PRO points to Josh Giddey. His line is set at 1.5 threes against the Knicks tonight, and our models have him exceeding that mark 2.05 3-pointers made. At bet365's price of +135, that's an 18.2% edge on Giddey to sink more than one shot from beyond the arc.
Through four games this season, Giddey is shooting the 3-ball at a career-high 42.9% clip, at about the same volume that he's had since his rookie year in OKC. This matchup against the Knicks, who have struggled defensively to the tune of a 37.9% 3-point percentage allowed, seems tailor-made for Giddey to continue to stay hot from deep.
For our final pick, we'll consider Jrue Holiday's line of 2.5 threes. PRO has him at a whopping 3.13 3-pointers made tonight, which gives his over a 20.2% edge on FanDuel's price of +148.
With an increased role on a star-bereft Trail Blazers team, Holiday has seen his shot volume tick up from his time in Boston. He's averaging 2.6 makes on 6.8 3-point attempts this season. Sure, Denver has been one of the league's stingiest teams in allowing 3-pointers so far, but with odds at +148, we like the veteran Holiday to rise to the occasion.
