The Grizzlies are 4.5-point favorites in tonight's matchup against the Pelicans, with the over/under set at 233.5 total points. The Grizzlies are -178 moneyline favorites to win outright, while the Pelicans are listed as +150 underdogs to pull off the upset.

Pelicans vs Grizzlies NBA Preview

The Memphis Grizzlies are taking on the New Orleans Pelicans today, and the game environment points toward a ton of possessions.

New Orleans currently plays at the third-fastest pace in the entire league, meaning this is going to be a track meet with plenty of shots going up.

The Pelicans are incredibly thin at the center position right now with Yves Missi sidelined.

On the Memphis side, I think the betting market is heavily over-indexing on Zach Edey.

Edey is undeniably a great rebounder, but he is only playing about 20 minutes a night, leaving a large void of minutes and rebounding opportunities in the frontcourt for others to capitalize on.

Pelicans vs Grizzlies Pick, Betting Analysis

I am locking in on Cam Boozer to go over 8.5 rebounds. The No. 3 overall pick has been phenomenal to start his career, firmly establishing himself at No. 1 on the 2026 rookie ladder.

Boozer is currently averaging 17.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in roughly 30 minutes a night. Through his first three professional games, he racked up 48 points and 35 rebounds—a statistical feat only Shaquille O'Neal had accomplished as a rookie.

Boozer recently followed that up by posting a triple-double and a career-high 27 points against the Kings.

Because Edey's minutes are capped around 20 a night, the boards are mostly falling right into Boozer's lap.

Even in a massive 31-point blowout victory over Sacramento, where his minutes were limited to just 26, Boozer still easily grabbed nine rebounds.

In a fast-paced game against a thin Pelicans frontcourt, 8.5 is just too low. I am grabbing the over.

Pick:Cam Boozer Over 8.5 Rebounds (-144, FanDuel)
