The Nuggets face off against the Spurs with their NBA Cup group hopes hanging in the balance. I like Denver to win regardless, but with their injuries, they'll need to lean on Nikola Jokić even more.
The Spurs are still expected to be without Victor Wembanyama, and even if he played, this has historically been a strong matchup for Denver's star big man, who has scored 1.24 points per possession against Wembanyama. Jokić is averaging 29.4 points per game this season and typically sees a scoring bump when he isn't sharing the floor with Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun, both of whom are sidelined tonight.
