Georgetown vs. UConn

Over 135.5

This Big East showdown between UConn and Georgetown opened with a surprisingly low total of 135.5, the lowest number either team has seen in either of their last five games.

UConn’s trends point up. The over has hit in five straight games, and the Huskies are back at home, where totals are averaging near 142 points on the season. UConn scores 80 points per game at home and hasn’t lost to Georgetown since Dan Hurley took over in 2018.

For this to hit, Georgetown shouldn’t need to exceed expectations by much. The Hoyas average 69 points per game on the road and have scored 60+ in five straight games.

If they reach that mark again, UConn should handle the rest.

Pick: Over 135.5

Nevada vs. San Diego State

Over 138.5

When Nevada and San Diego State met earlier this season (January), they combined for 141 points, easily clearing this 138.5 opening line.

The Aztecs are a different beast at Viejas Arena, where they’re putting up 83 points per game, thanks largely to a bench unit that ranks third in the country in scoring.

While San Diego State usually hangs its hat on defense, it's been playing with much more pace at home, and Nevada has the firepower to keep up.

The Wolf Pack are averaging 75 points per game on the road and have been even hotter lately, putting up 81.7 over their last three.

With San Diego State clicking in its own building and Nevada playing its best offensive basketball of the month, this one is well-positioned to hit the over again.

Pick: Over 138.5 (Play to 141.5)
