The Northern Iowa basketball program has earned its reputation as a giant slayer, mostly for what they have done in the NCAA Tournament, but they are a team that always gets the full attention of their opponent–no matter the caliber.

They have a chance to slay another giant tonight as they travel to Arkansas to take on Eric Musselman's Razorbacks.

The Razorbacks come into this game ranked No. 16 on the AP Poll, having won their first two games. However, they failed to cover in both games and are off to an 0-2 start against the spread.

The Panthers are also off to a rather slow start. They lost their opening game against Nicholls State outright as a 14-point favorite and followed that up with another outright loss to Vermont as a seven-point favorite.

However, they won and covered their last game as 28.5-point favorites over Dubuque.

Arkansas opened as 14.5-point favorites over Northern Iowa, but that line has moved down to Arkansas -12.5.
