Welcome to our weekly college football Havoc Rankings, where the volatility of offenses and defenses is graded for potential wagering.

Havoc is the collection of defensive stats that can derail offensive momentum. The summation includes tackles for loss, pass breakups, forced fumbles, interceptions and sacks.

Havoc allowed, meanwhile, is a stat used to quantify an offense's ability to avoid chaos that creates a negative play. Offenses that are elite in Havoc allowed have a low number of fumbles, interceptions and tackles for loss allowed.

Through Week 3, Indiana’s defense has created the most Havoc in the nation, while Washington has played the most secure offense in FBS.

Let's take a look at our college football picks and Week 4 Havoc Rankings for the upcoming week.

Havoc Allowed: Oregon 35th · Oregon State 94th
Defensive Havoc: Oregon 4th · Oregon State 1085h

The rivalry formerly known as the "Civil War" will showcase a complete imbalance of Havoc rankings. Both sides of the ball favor the Ducks, as the Beavers sit outside the top 90 in both Havoc and Havoc allowed.

Oregon has produced 18 pass breakups this season, meaning mistakes could be coming for Oregon State quarterback Maalik Murphy. The Duke transfer already has five interceptions on five turnover-worthy plays this season and was recently picked off twice by Texas Tech.

The Oregon State offensive line has also failed to keep defenders out of the backfield, allowing 19 tackles for loss on the season.

The same can't be said for the Oregon offensive line, which ranks sixth in tackles for loss allowed with seven on the season.

The quick release and short passing game of quarterback Dante Moore has led to secure offensive possessions, allowing wide receivers Malik Benson and Dakorien Moore to create chunk plays in the passing game.

Look for Havoc to be a determining factor in such a large spread when this rivalry kicks off. All signs point to Oregon State having continued issues with fumbles, interceptions and tackles for loss.

Pick: Oregon -35 or Better
