PRO Projections cashed the first A+ college football pick of the season last week, and the model is back with another premium edge for Saturday’s Week 2 slate. The second A+ gem is up for grabs, and this week’s hot ticket is Cal-Syracuse.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET, and both teams arrive with plenty of scoring upside. Cal is coming off a Week 1 loss to UCLA, while Syracuse is playing its second home game after handling FCS program New Hampshire. Each side was involved in a high-scoring game last weekend, which only adds to the intrigue in a matchup that looks ripe for betting value.

Two picks in this game crack the list for Week 2 best bets: One A+ edge and an additional grade-A selection.

Saturday's Grade-A Betting Edges for Week 2

There's a big disagreement brewing Saturday.

PRO Projections use data-driven betting models to compare our fair odds to the market, then assign grades based on the size of the edge. Bigger differences mean stronger picks, with A+ reserved for the best value on the board.

Last week, that approach delivered in a big way when Colorado’s A+ projection hit in an upset of Georgia Tech. The line was 6.5, PRO made it 3.2, and the Buffaloes won outright.

Is there another upset looming? PRO Projections essentially believe so.
