- The committee released its Top 25 on Tuesday night, with few surprises, minus maybe Clemson not appearing in the top 4 despite being undefeated.
- Ohio State took the top spot over LSU.

Ohio State holds the top spot thanks to its general decimation of everyone, with LSU, Alabama and Penn State in the next three spots. Clemson just missed the top 4, though the Tigers have the best shot to reach the playoff based on their remaining schedule.
