Iowa v. Iowa State Odds: Hawkeyes Spread Has Most Money, Tickets Heading Into College Football Week 2

No. 10 Iowa heads to Ames to face off against No. 9 Iowa State in the highest-ranked matchup of college football's Week 2 slate.
Iowa is a 4-point underdog at BetMGM for its road matchup. Iowa +4 is the most-placed spread bet at the sportsbook by both total tickets and money.
Its line had opened at +6.5 but has since shortened to +4.
Hawkeyes coach Kirk Ferentz hasn't lost against the spread in each of his last four games as an underdog.
Iowa also ranked 10th in the nation in defense by Expected Points Added during its dominating 34-6 win over Indiana last week.
These factors have conspired to shorten the Iowa line — and make it the most bet on point spread of the weekend.
Iowa's moneyline has also shortened from around +200 to its current mark at +150.
Iowa State's moneyline has lengthened from its opening mark of -225 down to -185.
The Cyclones dropped from No. 7 in the country to No. 9 after they barely eked out a 16-10 win against Northern Iowa during Week 1.
The total for "El Assico" opened at 44.5 at BetMGM but has since increased to its current mark of 46.
About 66% of the total tickets and roughly 72% of the total money is on the over for this matchup.
At DraftKings, Iowa is a +4.5 (-115) underdog while the Cyclones are 4.5-point favorites with -105 juice. The sportsbook also lists Iowa at +160 while Iowa State is a -190 favorite.
PointsBet has the same bets as above, with the only difference being the Cyclones' moneyline, which is listed at -191.
FanDuel has the same spread odds as DraftKings and PointsBet but lists Iowa as +168 underdogs and Iowa State as -210 favorites.
