The Pac-12 has been eliminated from the College Football Playoff with Washington State’s loss to Washington on Friday night. That also sends the Huskies to the conference title game for the second time in three years.

But next Friday’s Pac-12 Championship Game should provide plenty of intrigue from a betting perspective, especially for those who appreciate defense. Washington opened as a -4 favorite, then moved to -5 on Sunday night.

Utah is making its first appearance in the Pac-12 Championship Game after a 6-3 conference record. The Utes play BYU in a non-conference rivalry game to close the season.

The Pac-12 has been playing its championship game since 2011, and this is Utah’s first appearance. Washington is making its second appearance.
