BetMGM Bonus Code Pick: Notre Dame vs. Navy
- Notre Dame vs. Navy prediction: Notre Dame -30.5 at around -108
Notre Dame has had two weeks to prepare after its first loss of the season, a 28-24 defeat at BYU.
The Irish defense is the biggest mismatch. Notre Dame allows roughly 235 total yards per game, while Navy's offense is heavily dependent on the run.
Navy has scored 34, 34 and 39 points over its last three games, but the defense remains vulnerable. North Texas scored 49 against the Midshipmen, who are also 2-5 against the spread.
Notre Dame does have several injuries, including losses in the secondary, offensive line and defensive front. That matters less against a Navy offense that rarely throws. Jackson Gutierrez has completed only 32 of 64 passes this season.
The Irish have also dominated this matchup recently, going 8-2 against the spread in the last 10 meetings and winning last year's game 49-10.
