Adin Ross recently had a frustrating experience while playing live blackjack on the online platform Stake.us. He lost out on a $10,000 win due to a glitch that caused the dealer's card to not be read properly.

Ross wanted to stay with a hand value of 19 against the dealer's face-up card, which was a seven. However, either because the dealer moved too quickly or a tech glitch happened, the game didn't show his (the dealer's) hand value correctly. Instead, it showed he had a value of 18 because the dealer's next card was mistakenly counted as Ross’s.

He was playing at Stake.us.

You definitely won't find this on the list of Vegas Insider's common blackjack mistakes.

As a result, the hand was canceled, and Ross didn't get the $10,000 he should have won since his actual hand value was higher than the dealer's, which was 17.

Right after, Ross told his viewers to record the incident and said he would demand his money back, expressing anger and even saying the dealer should lose their job.

The support team assured him that it would take up to 24 hours to resolve the issue and return his bet. But it didn't end there.

There had been another mistake earlier in the stream, but a manager fixed it. It was the second time in just three hands that Ross saw one of his bets canceled because the dealer's card was misread. The combination of incidents was serious enough that Ross publicly got the dealer fired on stream, according to reports and videos circulating online.

Although Ross was upset, most people seem to think that the mistake wasn't intentional, just a technical issue with scanning the cards. Stake handled it by canceling the hand rather than wrongly declaring a winner.

Who is Adin Ross?

Ross is known for his big gambling bets, having both significant victories and losses, and is sponsored by Stake. However, he actually got his start streaming games like NBA 2K and Grand Theft Auto V on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.

Adin started his Twitch channel in 2019 and quickly gained a huge following, reaching over 7 million subscribers on Twitch and millions more on YouTube. Besides gaming, he often collaborates with celebrities, including musicians such as Lil Uzi Vert, and even interviewed Donald Trump live in August 2024.

Adin's streams are popular for being interactive and entertaining, often attracting large live audiences. However, his career hasn't been without controversy. He was associated with Andrew Tate, which stirred up public discussion. In early 2023, Twitch banned him permanently, but this was reversed in March 2025, allowing him to return to the platform after he had moved to the streaming service Kick.

Adin is recognized not just for gaming, but also for his lively personality and ability to draw viewers with celebrity collaborations, making him one of the top young streamers today. His estimated net worth is around $16 million, which he earns from streaming, sponsorships, and selling merchandise.
