Series Prices: Rays: +160 | Brewers: -180

First pitch for the Rays vs. Brewers Game 1 World Series matchup is at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, October 23, 2026. Odds subject to change. Always check your preferred sportsbook for the most up-to-date odds before the game begins.

Key Storylines Heading Into the Fall Classic

• Milwaukee rolled into the World Series with a 103-win regular season and a four-game sweep of the Dodgers in the NLCS.
• Tampa Bay grinded through adversity, rallying from a 2-1 series hole to beat Cleveland in six games in the ALCS.
• Jacob Misiorowski (16-5, 1.80 ERA) gets the ball for Milwaukee in Game 1 against Tampa Bay’s Nick Martinez.
• William Contreras has been Milwaukee’s hottest bat all postseason, hitting well over .350 with an OBP north of .450 through the playoffs.
• The series total sits at 5.5 and is heavily juiced toward the Over, with Milwaukee the most-likely outcome at six games.

World Series Pick and Prediction

Milwaukee’s lineup depth and home-field advantage make the Brewers the clear favorite, but Tampa Bay’s pitching staff is built for exactly this kind of series, and the Rays have shown they can grind out close games under pressure all October. Expect this one to go long, with Misiorowski and Martinez setting the tone in a tight Game 1 before the series finds its rhythm.

World Series Prediction: Brewers in 6

Best MLB Betting Promos for Game 1 of the World Series: Friday, Oct. 23, 2026

New users have 10 strong ways to get in on the Fall Classic. Here’s what the top sportsbooks are offering:

1. Fanatics Sportsbook

A World Series matchup is the perfect time to build a FanCash streak. Fanatics Sportsbook promo code ACTION26 converts any losing wager of $1 or more at odds of -500 or shorter into FanCash, up to $100 per day, which means stringing together 10 qualifying days and the total match reaches $1,000.

FanCash converts into bonus bets or Fanatics store credit, so a rough Game 1 doesn’t sink the rest of the series. The streak resets after a missed day, so consistency matters more than bet size.

2. BetMGM

Locked into a side on the series price or Game 1 run line? BetMGM is built for one confident wager. Deposit $10, bet $10 on the World Series with BetMGM bonus code TOPACTION, and get your loss back dollar-for-dollar in bonus bets, up to $1,500.

A winning bet pays standard odds with no bonus attached, so this suits bettors who want a single clean pick over splitting smaller bets across the series.

3. bet365

The bet365 bonus code removes any guesswork about whether Game 1 goes your way. A $10 wager at odds of -500 or shorter on Rays vs. Brewers triggers $200 in bonus bets regardless of the final score.

That guaranteed payout sets this offer apart from most on the list: no streak, no second bet, no outcome that leaves a new user empty-handed.

4. DraftKings

The DraftKings promo code requires the smallest upfront commitment on this list. A $5 wager on any World Series market unlocks $200 in bonus bets, paid out over 21 days regardless of the result, plus 3 months of NBA League Pass that kicks in as the NBA season tips off.

5. FanDuel

Sign up through the FanDuel promo code and collect $350 in bonus bets, paid out over seven days. That structure lets bettors spread the bonus across the full World Series slate instead of forcing an all-or-nothing wager on Game 1 alone.

6. theScore Bet

Not as recognizable as the bigger national apps, theScore Bet promo code ACTNEWS still holds up well, giving you a bonus bet to reset a losing first bet, while a win pays standard odds. Pricing on mainline World Series markets is competitively sharp, making this a solid secondary account for anyone already committed to a primary sportsbook.

7. betPARX

betPARX sticks to a simple format as it builds market share in Pennsylvania. The betPARX promo code TANBONUS backs a $25 opening wager with a $50 bonus bet on a loss, or a 200% profit boost instead, whichever a bettor picks at sign-up. No streaks to track, no tokens to split.

8. Hard Rock Bet

Hard Rock Bet keeps expanding into new legal markets, so bettors in states where mobile wagering recently launched should check availability. No Hard Rock Bet promo code required: a $5 bet on the World Series triggers $500 in No Sweat Bets if you lose, one of the largest first-bet protections on this list.

9. BetRivers

No BetRivers bonus code is needed, and the bonus activates only if the opening wager loses. A winning bet pays out at standard odds, rewarding bettors who genuinely like a side rather than those hedging for guaranteed value. Terms vary by state, so check the app’s specific offer before signing up.

10. Borgata

New Jersey-only, but worth a look for bettors in that state tuning into the Fall Classic. Register with Borgata using the Borgata bonus code ACTION and place a $20 bet to get $100 in bonus bet credits instantly, with no need to wait for the final score. Credits expire after seven days, so use them across the full series.

Prediction Market Apps for the World Series

Prediction market apps offer hundreds of dollars in bonuses for the World Series, a format that works differently from a traditional sportsbook. Instead of fixed odds, traders buy and sell contracts tied to a specific outcome, and prices shift as more people take a position on one side.

1. Polymarket

A $10 deposit with the Polymarket promo code ACTION becomes $25 in trading credit. Rays vs. Brewers already has a live market, plus season-long futures boards that run well past Game 1.

2. Kalshi

The Kalshi promo code ACTION55 awards a $55 bonus once a trader completes $25 in qualifying volume. Kalshi already lists a Rays vs. Brewers contract, plus World Series correct-score and MVP markets that carry a position well beyond Game 1.
