The early window features two divisional games I'm targeting. In Buffalo, the Ravens visit a 5-1 Bills team coming off its bye, with Baltimore still monitoring Lamar Jackson's ankle. Buffalo is favored by around three points in Ravens vs. Bills with one of Sunday's highest totals.
Detroit also hosts unbeaten Minnesota in an NFC North matchup. The Lions are favored by around 3.5 points in Vikings vs. Lions, and Jahmyr Gibbs enters Week 8 as one of the shortest-priced touchdown scorers on the entire slate.
I'm also targeting one player from Browns vs. Steelers before moving to the late window for Chargers vs. Rams.
Pittsburgh is favored by around 3.5 points in the AFC North rematch, while the Rams are laying roughly 6.5 against a Chargers team still searching for its first win. Los Angeles running back Kyren Williams scored last week and remains heavily involved near the goal line.

NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks for Week 8 Today
I'm targeting four NFL anytime touchdown scorer picks across Ravens-Bills, Vikings-Lions, Browns-Steelers and Chargers-Rams.
The first three lean on established volume and red-zone roles. The fourth is a plus-money receiver play whose workload has started to expand.
Derrick Henry, RB – Baltimore Ravens (-225, BetMGM)
Henry hasn't scored in either of Baltimore's last two games, but the underlying role still makes him my preferred Ravens touchdown pick.
He has eight total touchdowns through seven games, including seven on the ground. Henry has already posted three rushing scores in a game once this season and has handled at least 17 carries in every contest.
The biggest boost could be Jackson's return. Baltimore's offense has scored just 23 combined points over its last two games without its starting quarterback playing at full strength. Jackson practiced in full this week, and his presence makes the entire Ravens red-zone offense harder to defend.
Buffalo is favored, so there is some game-script risk if Baltimore falls behind. But Henry doesn't need 100 rushing yards to cash this market. He needs the Ravens to reach the goal line and give their primary short-yardage back an opportunity.
At around -225, the price is expensive, but Henry remains the most reliable Baltimore touchdown option.
Pick: Derrick Henry anytime touchdown (-225)
Jahmyr Gibbs, RB – Detroit Lions (-250, BetMGM)
Gibbs failed to score for the first time this season against Green Bay last week, but the workload was anything but concerning.
He carried 29 times for 116 yards and caught five passes, giving him 34 touches in Detroit's 20-17 win. Gibbs now has seven rushing touchdowns and two receiving scores through six games.
That dual-threat role is what separates him from most touchdown options. Detroit can get him into the end zone from the goal line, on a screen or by creating space against a linebacker in coverage.
Minnesota is 6-0 and has been one of the league's better defenses, so this isn't a matchup play. It's a workload play.
The Lions are still favored at home, and no Detroit skill player has a more dependable path to high-value touches.
Pick: Jahmyr Gibbs anytime touchdown (-250)
KC Concepcion, WR – Cleveland Browns (+227, Action Network)
Concepcion is the upside play on this card.
The rookie has yet to score his first NFL touchdown, but his usage is starting to look very different from what it did in September. He caught eight passes for 129 yards against Tennessee last week and added three carries for 23 yards.
That followed a four-catch game against Baltimore, and Concepcion has now moved into a much larger role in Cleveland's passing game.
The first Steelers matchup also produced five catches for 64 yards, so Pittsburgh has already seen what Cleveland wants to do with him.
This is obviously much less secure than Henry or Gibbs. Pittsburgh has allowed very little on the ground near the goal line, however, which could force Cleveland to manufacture touches elsewhere.
At a price above +200, I'm willing to bet on the increased volume eventually turning into Concepcion's first touchdown.
Pick: KC Concepcion anytime touchdown (+227)
Kyren Williams, RB – Los Angeles Rams (-130, DraftKings)
Williams has one of my favorite combinations of price, workload and game environment on the Week 8 board.
He ran 16 times for 99 yards and a touchdown in last week's 35-21 win over Las Vegas. Williams has now scored six total touchdowns through seven games, with five rushing scores and one receiving touchdown.
His passing-game role also gives him another path to the end zone. Williams has already produced games with 10 receptions and 70 receiving yards this season, so he doesn't disappear when Los Angeles throws.
The matchup helps. The Rams are favored by around 6.5 points over the Chargers, creating the type of positive game script where Sean McVay can continue feeding his running back after halftime.
The Chargers enter winless, while Williams has scored in five of his seven games.
At around -130, you're getting a much better price than you are with Henry or Gibbs without giving up the established goal-line role.
Pick: Kyren Williams anytime touchdown (-130)
