Terrible’s, a Las Vegas-based company known for its gaming and travel centers, assumed operations of Primm Valley Casino, Buffalo Bill’s and Whiskey Pete’s on July 5. This, after it was slated to close last month.
Now, after a slight delay from its original reopening plan, the company quickly brought one of the area’s key properties back on its feet.
Grand Reopening Details
The Primm Valley Casino reopened to the public at noon on Wednesday, July 22.
According to company statements, hundreds of employees worked around the clock to prepare the property for its return. Their efforts helped ensure a smooth and timely reopening for both locals and travelers passing through the area.
“Primm has long been one of Nevada’s most recognizable destinations,” said Tim Herbst, president of Terrible’s, on June 9. “This partnership reflects our commitment to preserving that legacy while creating new opportunities for growth, investment, and tourism for decades to come. We believe Primm’s best days are still ahead.”
Cory Clemetson, president of Primm South Real Estate Company and grandson of founder Ernie Primm, said the Primm family has owned land and businesses in the border town since the 1950s and is “delighted to partner with Terrible’s and the Herbst family to help manage and operate these important Southern Nevada properties.”

Guests visiting the Primm Valley Resort and Casino can expect a solid lineup of gaming and hospitality options right from day one. The property is reopening with:

Terrible’s also shared plans to expand the property’s dining options in the near future. Upcoming additions include a coffee bar, a 24-hour casual dining café and a steakhouse.
