When you hear Las Vegas, the first thing that most likely comes to mind is slot machines and table games in the casino. But if you're a fan of spine-tingling terror and hair-raising horror, get ready for some thrilling news.
Universal Horror Unleashed, an exhilarating new horror experience, is set to open its doors in Las Vegas on August 14.
Located at the dynamic AREA15 entertainment complex, this permanent attraction promises year-round frights and excitement that puts seasonal events like Universal's Halloween Horror Nights to shame. Imagine entering a 110,000-square-foot world where your worst fears come alive, and adventure awaits around every corner.
The attraction joins the many residencies and food halls that draw visitors to Las Vegas for things other than gambling.
Unleash Your Fears: A Detailed Look Inside
Universal Horror Unleashed takes horror to a new level with four immersive haunted houses, each offering a unique storyline that will chill you to the bone.
You'll encounter sinister universes inspired by "Universal Monsters", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and Blumhouse’s "The Exorcist: Believer." Plus, there's an original maze titled: "Scarecrow: The Reaping." It was designed by the same group that brought their creative scares to Halloween Horror Nights in Florida.
But the horror doesn't stop with the houses. Four themed entertainment areas await, each packed with live horror experiences, elaborately themed food, and unique drink options that promise to enhance your fright-filled adventure.
For those looking to take a break from the scares, "Jack’s Alley" offers a themed bar and social hub to relax and savor the atmosphere.
"Universal’s rich history in the creation of the horror genre drove our desire to bring a year-round horror experience to the incredible entertainment offerings in Las Vegas. We’re thrilled to have our award-winning Creative and Entertainment teams working tirelessly to bring these terrors to life in 2025," said Page Thompson, President of New Ventures for UDX.
