C.J. Stroud is the new betting favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook to go No. 1 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Chicago Bears are reportedly sending the top overall selection to the quarterback-needy Carolina Panthers for four draft picks and wide receiver D.J. Moore.
The pick compensation for Chicago includes the No. 9 pick this year, a first-rounder next year, and two additional second-round picks.
Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, meanwhile, is no longer atop the 2023 odds board.

Stroud opened -115 and was bet to -225. Young opened -105 and was adjusted to +175.
Carolina has 48 days to map out its plans for 2023 and beyond. The franchise is looking for a franchise quarterback in the first year of a new coaching regime.
The 2022 Panthers were one of 12 teams profitable against the spread (9-8, 52.8%), though they finished just outside the top five in the NFL in team passer rating.
The Bears, meanwhile, spurned bettors last season at 5-11-1 against the spread. Only the Buccaneers (4-13-1) were worse.
Young, a former Heisman Trophy winner, had been the betting favorite virtually all winter, followed by Stroud.
Richardson, a dual-threat quarterback out of Florida, recently dazzled at the NFL Combine to flirt with top-pick contention.
