Patrick Mahomes is an underdog in the playoffs.

Mahomes' history as an underdog should have you interested in betting on the Kansas City Chiefs against the Buffalo Bills.

The Chiefs are 2.5-point underdogs as they travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills. This is a spot the Chiefs have not been in often during the Mahomes era. But history says it's a spot where we should trust them.

Mahomes is 7-3 straight-up and 8-1-1 against the spread as an underdog in his career. He has rarely ever been an underdog in the playoffs. The only time was when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl, and Kansas City won that game by a score of 38-35.

Mahomes has also played only one playoff game on the road, which wasn't supposed to be a road game at all, as the Chiefs played the Buccaneers in Tampa in Super Bowl LV.

Mahomes is 10-5 ATS in the playoffs overall and he has never lost in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
