Through the first six weeks of the season, "America's Team" is also becoming the favorite team of NFL bettors.

Following Sunday's 35-29 Week 6 win against the New England Patriots, the Dallas Cowboys covered the closing 3.5-point spread, moving to a perfect 6-0 against the spread (ATS) this season.

It didn't look all that great for Dallas early in Sunday's game, as the Cowboys trailed 14-7 at the end of the first quarter.

However, Mike McCarthy's team dominated the second quarter until a fumble on a Dak Prescott goal-line dive allowed New England to take a 14-10 lead into the half.

Following an exciting back-and-forth second half, Prescott connected with CeeDee Lamb in overtime for a game-winning touchdown.

Not only are the Cowboys the last remaining undefeated ATS team this season, they're the first team to advance to Week 7 with an unblemished record for bettors since the 2018 Kansas City Chiefs.

Below is the list of the now 11 NFL teams to carry perfect ATS records into Week 7 of an NFL season dating back to 2003:

I know what you're thinking: So which of those 10 teams listed above remained undefeated ATS the longest?

That crown goes to the 2011 49ers, who lost as 3.5-point underdogs to the Baltimore Ravens, 16-6, in Week 12.

The Cowboys now get a bye in Week 7 and will resume their quest to remained undefeated for spread bettors with a Week 8 road matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
