After much anticipation, a new football season is finally here, and the NFL came up with an unbeatable opening concept: kicking off the year with a Super Bowl LX rematch. Tonight, the New England Patriots travel to Lumen Field to face the Seattle Seahawks in a blockbuster matchup that will set the tone for Week 1.

This heavyweight clash also presents a prime opportunity for traders on Kalshi, so we’ve highlighted some of the top picks you won't want to miss on tonight's slate.

The Odds Right Now: Seattle Takes the Lead

Ever since this matchup was confirmed, the market has held a clear favorite: traders are convinced Seattle holds a significant upper hand tonight. The Seahawks are currently trading at 61% implied odds to win, while the Patriots sit at 39%, numbers that have remained relatively stable over the past few days.

The core thesis behind this line distribution is that Seattle retains the primary pillar of its Super Bowl LX victory: an elite, game-changing defense. Despite roster turnover and offseason injuries, Seattle still boasts prominent defensive playmakers who made life miserable for the Patriots last season.

On offense, Seattle ushers in a new era under offensive coordinator Brian Fleury following the departure of former OC Klint Kubiak and Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker III, who signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency.

Interestingly, the Patriots tailored their entire preseason approach around tonight's game, actively reshaping their roster to fix the exact flaws exposed during Super Bowl LX. However, those adjustments haven't been enough to sway trader confidence on the exchanges.

Ultimately, the moneyline pricing looks spot on; Seattle holds a clear edge in this opener. That said, Week 1 is notoriously volatile, and unexpected upsets are always on the table.

Spread, Totals, and Props

In a game of this caliber, sticking strictly to the moneyline leaves a lot of value on the table. It’s well worth digging deeper into the Kalshi order books to capitalize on secondary derivative positions.

Given Seattle’s defensive upside and the low-scoring nature of their recent head-to-head meeting, targeting the Under on total points is a high-conviction play. Both teams combined for just 42 points back in February, making the Under 44.5 at 52 cents a compelling position.

On the spread, taking the Seahawks at -3.5 (or alternative line positions) remains the most logical way to gain exposure.

When it comes to Anytime Touchdown markets, the top targets for this game are George Holani for the Seattle Seahawks and A.J. Brown on the Patriots' side. Brown's Yes shares are trading at an extraordinarily low entry price at 38 cents, it stands out as an absolute steal.

If you want to go the extra mile, targeting Rhamondre Stevenson as the Patriots' First Touchdown Scorer is another solid position that currently sells at just 25 cents. He’ll start in tonight’s game, filling in for the injured Tre’Veyon Henderson. Stevenson will look to capitalize on the starting role, giving him strong odds to open the scoring for the Patriots.
