The middle game of the Thanksgiving three-pack has the Giants going into AT&T Stadium to face the Cowboys.

Despite having identical 7-3 records, The Giants are 10.5-point underdogs at FanDuel for this matchup. Injuries have plagued the G-Men, and despite their overachieving season, I expect them to be playing from behind for most of this game.

That's why my favorite player prop of the game involves Daniel Jones’ completions. It’s no secret that the Giants want to play through the ground game with Saquon Barkley, as they have been all season. Despite that, Jones has still eclipsed this line in six of 10 games.

The Cowboys defense has been excellent in all facets, ranking fourth in Football Outsider’s DVOA against the pass since Week 5, and fifth against the run.

The focus for Dallas will undoubtedly be to stop the Giants run game, whether that be Barkley or Jones himself. Dallas’ speed in its front seven should allow it to neutralize the Giants' RPO-based offense.

Jones has had to deal with a variety of injuries to his pass catchers all season, and today will be no different. Promising rookie receiver Wan’Dale Robinson tore his ACL last week and will miss the remainder of the season. However, Jones has had plenty of reps with the likes of Richie James, Lawrence Cager and other Giants backups.

The Cowboys pass rush will make it challenging for Jones to stretch the field, so I’m expecting plenty of quick-hitters and short passes.

Jones wasn't at his best in these teams' first meeting back in Week 3, but he did complete 20 passes. I project him for 21 today, in a game where the Giants should be playing catchup.
