Eagles vs Cowboys Same Game Parlay: +1014 SGP for Sunday Night Football

NFL Sunday Night Football features the game of the week with Eagles vs Cowboys. In the first meeting between these teams, the Eagles beat the Cowboys 28-23 in Philadelphia.
Not only is the venue shifting to Dallas, but the stakes are now higher. If the Eagles win, the NFC East crown is almost guaranteed to be theirs and the path to the NFC's top-seed is much clearer. From the Cowboys' perspective, a win is likely needed to secure a home playoff game.

Alt Spread Eagles -3.5
We are going big on the first prop and giving up a bunch of points to take the Eagles against the spread. This is more of a bet on the Cowboys being frauds than on the Eagles being excellent. Dallas has zero wins this year against teams over .500 as the 2023 Cowboys have built their brand by blowing out weaker teams.
Dak Prescott played arguably his best game of the year against the Eagles in the first matchup, but even that wasn't enough. The Cowboys' fast and aggressive style — on both offense and defense — is a bully brand of football. And we all know that when someone stands toe-to-toe with a bully, it typically doesn't go the bully’s way.
Dallas has struggled against the best of the best, but the Eagles have thrived. Philadelphia is 3-1 against teams over .500, the only loss coming last week against the 49ers.
Also in Philadelphia's favor, Prescott played a fantastic game in the first matchup while the Eagles' offense was pedestrian. Philadelphia had its third-lowest yardage total of the season, but still managed to win.
First Half Over 26.5
These teams may play to different levels against quality opponents, but one thing they have in common is high-scoring first halves. Per EVAnalytics, the Cowboys have hit the first half over in 10 of 12 games this season. The Eagles have hit it in eight of 12 games. Both teams play fast and work to get ahead early. The first matchup produced 30 points in the first half and I will expect something similar in round two.
These teams are built on speed, pressure and creating chunk plays. Their aggressive styles will lead to an exciting first half.
DeVonta Smith 70+ Receiving Yards
With both teams starting fast, some players will produce gaudy numbers and Smith is the best value pick. Smith has come to life in the past five weeks as he's scored four touchdowns and has averaged 90 yards per game. Whichever angle you want to take on him here is valid, but I chose the alt receiving line because it got me to an odds total that I am comfortable with for the risk.
It'll be exciting to have a primetime game that can live up to the stand-alone hype. With this same-game parlay in my mind, the only thing left to say is Fly Eagles Fly!
