Mike Tomlin, the longest tenured head coach in the NFL (and in all of North American sports), has stepped down from the Steelers job, ending a 19-season run at the helm of the organization. This move comes after a loss to the Texans in the Wild Card Round, ending the Steelers' 13th postseason run under Tomlin's watch.
Tomlin found early success in Pittsburgh, his first head coaching gig, after a few years of learning the ropes as a position coach in other organizations. He won Super Bowl XLIII in 2009, his second year on the job, though he was only able to make it back to the season's final game one other time (2011).
Prediction market Kalshi has odds posted for who will replace Tomlin as head coach of the Steelers, with current odds showing a few former head coaches of AFC rivals leading the way.
