On the debut episode of the Action Network's new motorsports betting podcast "Running Hot," hosts Nick Giffen and Stevie Young discussed a Super Bowl/NASCAR cross-sport prop bet at Caesars Sportsbook:

  • 2023 Daytona 500 cautions (-130) vs. Distance of first touchdown scored (+100)

This is not only a fun Super Bowl cross-sport prop bet, but it's also one that the guys tackled – and ultimately found value.

Here's how Young is betting this Super Bowl cross-sport prop:

"I think that looking at the numbers, and especially looking at superspeedways with this new car last season, I think you have to take the touchdown on this one. I mean, that's where I would lean, personally.

I think that we could potentially see six to nine cautions in the Daytona 500.

I like the odds of a touchdown being longer than 10 yards. So I'm going to take the touchdown and, man, what a fun little bet you've found here.

I like it. We're bringing the goods here in episode one."

In this episode, Giffen and Young also preview the upcoming 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season, including a couple of over/under win totals that they believe are smart bets right now.
