President Donald Trump's schedule is busier than ever. In the final stretch of the campaign ahead of the November 3 midterm elections, the GOP's leader is launching a tour across contested battlegrounds aimed at delivering a final boost to Republican candidates. Mississippi, Texas and Ohio are among the key stops, each presenting a distinct political landscape.

In this article we'll break down Trump's rally schedule and examine what the Kalshi odds say about the state of the races across these battlegrounds.

Trump Rally Today: Corinth, Mississippi

President Trump kicks off his week with a stop in Corinth, Mississippi. The GOP's rally aims to deliver a final boost to incumbent Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, who faces Democratic challenger Scott Colom.

At the event, Trump is expected to address the Mississippi election and its broader significance within the national political landscape. Interestingly, the president was challenged to a debate by Colom after Hyde-Smith declined the same invitation. While the White House has issued no official response, there is little chance of such a debate actually taking place.

Across prediction markets and polls, Hyde-Smith remains the clear favorite to win on November 3. On Kalshi, she holds a commanding 89% implied probability, reflecting the 6-point advantage she has maintained in recent surveys.

Visiting a historically Republican-leaning territory where the party’s nominee is well-positioned serves as a prelude to Trump's upcoming trip to Texas, where the political landscape is considerably more complex.

Tuesday: Trump Heads to Texas as Paxton Faces Talarico

This Tuesday, October 27, Donald Trump will make his fourth trip to Texas of this election cycle. Joined by Vice President JD Vance, the pair will make stops in Corpus Christi and Lubbock to headline Republican rallies with local supporters.

The president will launch his Texas tour in Corpus Christi around midday before traveling to Lubbock to conclude his visit to the Lone Star State, his final stop there ahead of the November 3 election.

The primary objective for the GOP's top two leaders is to right the ship for Ken Paxton's Senate campaign. Paxton currently trails his Democratic opponent, James Talarico, across prediction markets and public surveys. Over the course of October, Talarico’s implied probability expanded from 60% to 65%, with market momentum continuing to favor the Democratic candidate.

Republicans are growing increasingly uneasy over the prospect of losing a longtime party stronghold like Texas. While Paxton's polling figures remain concerning, the margin stays within a few percentage points. Trump and Vance are betting that their joint appearance will rally undecided voters and disaffected Republicans to back Paxton down the final stretch.

Wednesday: Trump’s Ohio Stop in the Husted–Brown Senate Race

In Ohio, Republicans face a similar uphill battle. In prediction markets, the odds paint a clear picture: Democrat Sherrod Brown holds the lead with a 68% implied odds, while Republican candidate Jon Husted trails at 32%.

Recent surveys present a slightly more optimistic outlook for Husted, with several pools pointing to a dead heat. However, this offers little comfort to Republicans determined to defend the seat.

Against this backdrop, Donald Trump will visit Chillicothe, located roughly 45 miles south of the state capital, Columbus. This will mark the president's third visit to Ohio, underscoring the state's strategic importance within the broader national landscape.

Trump’s Last Weekend: Georgia on Saturday, Michigan on Sunday

This past weekend, the president took no breaks, continuing his tour through critical battlegrounds for the Republican Party.

On Saturday, he headed to Georgia, where he headlined a rally in Perry at the Guardian Centers training facility. The event aimed to energize campaigns for Republican Senate nominee Mike Collins and gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson. Facing lagging early-voting turnout in rural areas, Trump highlighted the arrival of a new automotive plant in the state and warned that a Republican victory is vital to holding off Democrats.

The following day, the president traveled to Michigan, more specifically to Port Huron, where he addressed a packed rally at McMorran Place. Trump sharpened his rhetoric against Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and defended his industrial tariff policies during an event that also featured a surprise appearance by Nicki Minaj in support of GOP candidates.

In both Georgia and Michigan, the outlook remains deeply concerning for Republicans. In the former, Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff holds a commanding lead in prediction markets with a 94% implied probability. In the latter, El-Sayed leads Mike Rogers, though polling in that race reflects a tight contest that could tip in favor of either candidate.
