France vs. England Betting Trends & Odds
As of 10:30 a.m. ET, 4.5 hours before the match, betMGM’s three-way moneyline is at France -120/England +275/Draw +290. That’s a notable change from Wednesday’s opening numbers of France +125/England +220/Draw +225.
“There’s very little interest so far. I think most people forget this game exists,” betMGM trading manager Adair Horne said, while noting that France is the more popular side.
Ticket count is relatively close, with France getting 51% of the three-way bets and England seeing 40%. But 76% of the money is on France, while England is netting just 21% of dollars. The draw is picking up the final 9% of bets and 3% of money.
And France is more popular in To Advance—or, in this case, to be deemed the third-place finisher. Mbappe & Co. are taking 56% of bets/73% of money while sitting at -225, with England +155.
BetMGM’s total is at 3.5 (Under -145), moving up from the opener of 2.5 (Over -175).
“Over 2.5 is attractive, with 75% of that market’s handle, which is pretty typical,” Horne said.
In Golden Boot odds, Mbappe is the -150 favorite, followed by Argentina’s Lionel Messi at +110. England’s Harry Kane is a distant third at +3300.
Mbappe and Messi each have eight goals, while Kane is at six.
