Burnley vs. Brentford
However, two late goals conceded condemned the Bees to their second consecutive away defeat last Saturday against Brighton. Struggling to manage their lead is becoming a concern for Keith Andrews' side, having dropped more points from winning positions than any other team in the Premier League this season (11).
Burnley has the third-worst defence in the league, which has conceded 24 goals and the lowest expected goals total of any Premier League team this season (8.7). Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has made more saves than any other player in the Premier League this season (49).
While that should not stop the hosts from returning to winning ways, our BETSiE predictions model puts Brentford's chances of covering the one-goal Asian handicap at over 57%.
Pick: Brentford Asian Handicap -1
Leeds United vs. Manchester City
After a 2-1 defeat at Newcastle, Pep Guardiola made 10 changes to the line-up against Leverkusen on Tuesday night, but Omar Marmoush, Oscar Bobb, and Savinho's performances were indecisive. Leaving out Erling Haaland and Phil Foden proved a mistake, and on Saturday, City must win to remain firmly in the Premier League title race.
Leeds are in the relegation zone, having earned just three points in their last six matches. The newly promoted team has the third-worst away defence in the league, but has conceded more goals than expected.
According to our in-house model BETSiE, City has more than a 74% chance of winning and is expected to score more than two goals (2.35 xG). It seems wise to bet on the home team's victory and a goal from their top scorer, Erling Haaland, whose next goal for City will be his 100th in the Premier League.
Pick: Manchester City -2 & Erling Haaland To Score Anytime
AFC Bournemouth vs. Sunderland
Level on points with 19, Sunderland and Bournemouth have been the most intriguing positive surprises of this season's start.
The Black Cats have secured 12 points at the Stadium of Light, holding off more prestigious teams such as Aston Villa and the league leaders, Arsenal. Bournemouth has slowed down after winning three of its first four matches and hasn't won since October 28.
This match will be a clash of styles. Sunderland's games have featured the fewest total goals, just 25, while Bournemouth's 39 are the second-most goals in the Premier League.
A draw seems the most logical outcome, and our in-house model assigns it a 27% chance. The visitors have kept a clean sheet in only one of their last seven matches, making the likelihood of at least one Sunderland goal quite substantial.
Pick: Both Teams To Score – Yes
Newcastle United vs. Everton
Everton gifted themselves a night to remember on Monday by securing a 1-0 victory at Manchester United, despite playing with 10 men for over an hour. Back-to-back wins have propelled the Toffees to 11th place with 18 points, three ahead of Newcastle.
The Magpies beat City 2-1 but lost by the same scoreline to Marseille, and are trailing Everton in a head-to-head for the first time since February 2022. Newcastle is the third-worst away team in the Premier League, averaging just 0.50 points per game and scoring only three goals.
This season, the visitors have lost both away league matches following a midweek cup game, 3-1 against West Ham and Brentford. Backing Everton with an Asian Handicap of 0.25, with the draw offering a half-stake win, seems a prudent choice.
Pick: Everton Asian Handicap +0.25
Fulham vs. Tottenham
Another London derby awaits Tottenham after their 4-1 defeat last Sunday at the Emirates Stadium. Tottenham has struggled at home, with just five points — the second-worst home record in the Premier League — and seven goals — the third-worst home attack.
Fulham, meanwhile, sits three points above the relegation zone, thanks to a last-minute victory against Sunderland last Saturday. However, Marco Silva's side has a poor away points record this season. The Cottagers' only away point came in the season opener against Brighton.
Our in-house model BETSiE gives Thomas Frank's team over a 56% chance of covering the -0.25 Asian Handicap. This is the second-highest home-team probability in this Premier League Matchday 13 market, and it's worth taking advantage of.
