After entering Game 3 as underdogs and pulling off an upset, the Aces now hold a commanding 3-0 series lead and have the opportunity to cut down the nets tonight. The market has significantly adjusted based on the results of Game 3, as the Mercury's home-court advantage is not nearly worth what was initially implied.
However, we shouldn't expect the Mercury to go down without a fight, and a bounce-back performance from Alyssa Thomas should fuel that grit. Thomas has been held in check by the Aces after carrying the Mercury past the Lynx.
We've seen her shot volume come down significantly; she averaged 17 field goal attempts per game against the Lynx but has yet to have more than 11 in three games against the Aces.
