Fever vs. Aces Preview
The Indiana Fever toppled a giant in the Atlanta Dream to advance to the semifinals. However, the Aces boast a giant of their own in a literal sense as MVP candidate A'ja Wilson appears as dominant as ever.
Wilson comes into Game 1 off a tremendous performance in Game 3 against Seattle, where she dropped 38 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out three assists. The Aces have gotten her as many touches as possible down the stretch, as she played nearly five minutes more per game in their first series and averaged two more field goal attempts per game.
With Wilson's usage up, it gives her a bigger window to exceed her prop total against an Indiana team that lacks the size to contain her. The Fever are 10th in points allowed to centers, and Wilson averaged 22 points per game against them in four meetings this season.
However, we saw in the Seattle series that Wilson will make the extra pass when double teams are drawn, as she totaled 10 assists in the three games.
