Liberty vs. Dream Preview

This is a massive matchup between the Liberty and Dream as the two teams are jockeying just a game apart in the standings. However, the Liberty come into this matchup with a big question mark: their star guard, Sabrina Ionescu, is questionable with a foot injury.

Her absence would loom large as the Liberty are already without other key players such as Isabelle Harrison, Nyara Sabally and Breanna Stewart.

This lack of backcourt depth opens up opportunities for the Dream guards to make an impact in multiple categories, but the one area where the Liberty have been weak against guards is on the glass.

New York ranks 11th in rebounds allowed to guards, and that will only be amplified if Ionescu is out. Dream guard Allisha Gray is the player to target in this matchup as she's been very consistent on the defensive glass this season.

Gray has recorded at least five rebounds in 69 percent of games this season and has done so in all three meetings with the Liberty this year.

Everything points to Gray exceeding this total once again today.

She's been incredibly consistent, has a great matchup, and has a massive window to grab rebounds, as she rarely comes off the floor.

Best Bet: Alisha Gray Over 4.5 Rebounds (-120, BetMGM)
