Liberty vs. Valkyries Preview
The New York Liberty hit the road to face off against the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday night.
The Liberty have been dominant this season with a 10-3 record and the league’s best Net Rating at +13.9.
The Valkyries have started to gel and are 7-6 with a +0.6 Net Rating while they develop their identity.

Liberty vs. Valkyries Prediction
The Liberty are dealing with personnel issues right now as they are without Jonquel Jones (ankle) and Leonie Fiebich (overseas). They have also listed Sabrina Ionescu (neck) as questionable; however, she’s expected to play, per Alford Corriette.
One player I expect to thrive in this matchup is Breanna Stewart. Stewie has cooked the Valks for 24 and 27 points while contributing a few dimes in each game this season. They don’t have a great answer for her. However, that success is baked into her lines a bit.
I’ll target the Liberty’s other center today, Nyara Sabally. She has played more minutes with Jones out (26 and 30 minutes in her past two games) and when she plays 25+ minutes, she is 4-for-4 on this line over the past two seasons, averaging 8.3 rebounds per game. The Valks are a solid rebounding team, but I expect Sabally to thrive in her expanded role.
Best Bet: Nyara Sabally Over 6.5 Rebounds (-155, BetMGM)
