Sparks vs. Sky Preview

We have a slew of injuries that will impact this one on the Chicago side.

Rickea Jackson (ACL), Skylar Diggins (knee) and Azura Stevens (personal) are all out for Chicago. Sydney Taylor (groin) could be as well.

Taylor was limited to 17 minutes two nights ago, and played well, scoring 14 on 5-of-10 in a 106-101 loss to the Phoenix Mercury, but her status is up in the air tonight.

If you're the Sky, sure, you can rush her, but long-term, it doesn't make sense, especially if you're 6.0 games out of a playoff spot. Taylor is one of the best stories in the league, will likely be on the All-Rookie Team, and it'd be surprising to see her play in such a quick turnaround from the groin injury. She is officially questionable.

Otherwise, the Sparks don't have any injuries of note, and remember, Kelsey Plum has been traded.

Sparks vs. Sky Prediction

In the event Taylor plays, I still may like this, but obviously, this looks better if she doesn't. Natasha Cloud has to eat more usage offensively and is obviously capable of doing so, especially against the Sparks defense, which is one of the league's worst.

I like Cloud to get 20+ points and assists combined. She just got to 13 and 7 last time out, including the Taylor absence, and regardless of her status, the team is still severely shorthanded.

Best Bet: Natasha Cloud to record 20+ PA
