Dream vs. Valkyries Preview
The WNBA Finals come down to an ultimate winner-take-all Game 7. After dropping Game 6 in Atlanta 80-69, the Valkyries return home looking to close out the championship behind their signature stifling defense.
Throughout the regular season, under head coach Natalie Nakase, the team established the league's gold standard on that front, finishing No. 1 in defensive rating (100.6) and allowing a league-low 75.1 points per game.
Operating at the league's slowest pace (74.5), Golden State has successfully dragged this series into the mud. In their three finals victories, the Valkyries held Atlanta to 64, 62, and 55 points.
On the other side, the Dream boast the firepower that carried them to the Eastern Conference crown. Atlanta ranked third in scoring (91.3 PPG) and fourth in pace (80.7) during the regular season, but the Finals have proven far more contested than their previous sweeps over Washington and New York.
Game 7 intensity promises tight rotations, defensive grit, and a half-court battle. For our most valuable picks, we turn to two Golden State role players offering clear value, thanks to Action PRO Tools.

Dream vs. Valkyries Prediction
Kiah Stokes Over 8.5 Rebounds
Our WNBA Prop Projections identified an 18.6% edge on Kiah Stokes clearing 8.5 rebounds, as we project her for 10.77 tonight.
While Stokes had 5.8 rebounds per game in the regular season, her postseason workload and impact on the glass have surged significantly. Stokes is averaging 9.8 rebounds in 28.4 minutes during the 2026 playoffs.
Against Atlanta’s frontcourt in this series, Stokes has been able to dominate the interior, racking up 11 rebounds in Game 2, another 11 in Game 3, and a monster 16-rebound performance in Game 4. Even in Game 5, she pulled down eight boards in 35 minutes.
With the championship on the line, expect Nakase to lean heavily on her starting center's rim protection and board work, giving Stokes ample opportunity to cruise past 8.5 rebounds against a projected line of nearly 11 boards.
Cecilia Zandalasini Over 7.5 Points
Our model also projects Cecilia Zandalasini for 9.26 points, generating a 15.6% edge on the over with her points line at 7.5.
She has emerged as one of Golden State's most dependable wing scoring options in the Finals. After averaging 8.6 points per game in the regular season, she has surpassed this 7.5-point mark in five of the six Finals games so far:
- Game 1: 8 points (22 minutes)
- Game 2: 5 points (17 minutes)
- Game 3: 13 points (21 minutes)
- Game 4: 10 points (18 minutes)
- Game 5: 12 points (25 minutes)
- Game 6: 9 points (22 minutes)
Zandalasini continues to see consistent volume, taking at least eight field-goal attempts in four of the six Finals contests while knocking down shots from beyond the arc and getting to the free-throw line.
In what projects to be a grind-it-out Game 7, her perimeter creation and shot-making ability make this pick a great target.
Best Bets: Kiah Stokes Over 8.5 Rebounds (-128, DraftKings) / Cecilia Zandalasini Over 7.5 Points (-129, DraftKings)
