Valkyries vs. Dream Preview

Game 6 of the WNBA Finals could be a closeout game for the Golden State Valkyries or a chance for Atlanta to send the series back to Golden State for Game 7.

The WNBA wasn't even sure when or where this game would be played over the last several days, so this game will be played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta at 12:30 p.m. ET.

From a viewership standpoint, I'm sure lots of people will be tuned in with it being the only major event on at that time, but from a basketball standpoint, the Valkyries are playing a 9:30 a.m. body clock game, which isn't great for them.

Valkyries vs. Dream Prediction

This series is only averaging 138.5 points per game, and that number drastically drops if you remove the outlier Game 3 that had 168 points scored.

Golden State is 8-1-1 to the Under in their last 10 games, and 14-7-1 to the Under in road games.

The biggest threat to an Under is 3-point shooting, and these teams have really struggled in that regard this series, with both teams shooting 25% or below from three in three of five games so far, under 30% in four of five games with the lone Over coming when both teams shot 40% from three.

Golden State has also seemingly cleaned up Atlanta's easiest source of points, which is the Valkyries' turnovers. In games 4 and 5, Golden State only turned the ball over nine times in each game after turning it over 36 times in games 2 and 3.

A 12:30 tipoff after a rock fight of a 5-game series so far makes me think there are going to be plenty of tired legs out there, which lends itself to more poor shooting, so I like the Under in this situation.

Best Bet: Under 147.5 (-115, DraftKings)
