Sky vs. Mystics Preview
The Sky take on the Mystics on Tuesday for a matinee matchup.
Both teams have been underwhelming this season, with a combined record of 13-22. Both teams have negative Net Ratings as well.
Angel Reese has been playing out of her mind lately. Over her last five games, she is averaging 17 points, 17.4 rebounds, and five assists. Some of this is due to Kamilla Cardoso participating in Americup, but she’s locked in and crushing for this team.
I’m targeting her RA (rebounds plus assists), which is currently at 17.5, and she has exceeded this in five straight games. The assists have popped, and while she could clear this with rebounds alone, she’s taken on a facilitating role lately.
Sky vs. Mystics Prediction
These two teams are both underperforming on the season. However, I don’t think the Mystics are more than two possessions better than the Sky.
This line has moved from 4.5 to 6.5 since opening, but I’m going to buy back at 6.5. The Sky have been playing better of late, and I’ll back them here.
