Tempo vs. Fever Preview
The Fever are 7.5-point favorites, and the total is set at 177.5. On the injury report, Toronto will be without Kiki Rice and Niyara Sabally once again. For Indiana, Raven Johnson is questionable, while Caitlin Clark carries that "probable" tag they've been giving her a lot this season, so she should be good to go.
Looking at how each team is playing, Toronto has dropped two straight. One was a narrow one-point loss to Washington—shout out to the Tempo for still covering in that defeat, as I didn't mind seeing them lose by just one—and then they got smoked by Atlanta last time out.
They are a team that really doesn't have any marquee wins this season, hovering around the bottom of the playoff picture without having beaten a truly quality opponent.
While this Indiana team has struggled at times, they are definitely in a tier I would consider a solid basketball team.
I don't think Toronto has a win on their resume as good as going into Indiana would be, so it would be a little surprising to see the Tempo pull off the upset. That's exactly why Indiana is a heavy favorite.
The Fever have won three in a row after falling to .500, with victories over Washington, Chicago, and Connecticut. One was by two points, one was in overtime, and the other was by 10, though the Sun still got the cover—thanks again for the underdog cover there.

Tempo vs. Fever Prediction
I have what look to be very square thoughts on this game. I think this is a big Caitlin Clark game. Part of the rationale is that Caitlin is currently performing incredibly well against bad teams while struggling a bit against the elite ones.
If you look at her best performances, she had 32 points against the Mystics, 32 against the Sky, 25 against the Sun, and 24 against a Sparks defense we've already established is quite poor. Her four best games have come against four of the worst opponents Indiana has faced this season.
She has also maintained some noticeable home-and-road splits. At home, she is averaging 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists, compared to 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists on the road.
Furthermore, this Toronto backcourt is a pretty good matchup to exploit. I love Brittney Sykes, but her defensive effort tends to come and go, and Marina Mabrey is super easy to pick on defensively.
This shapes up as a really good game for Caitlin, and the Fever are inherently good when Caitlin is playing well. It's pretty simple: the Fever are 5-1 this season when she scores more than 20 points.
Because of that, I like a Same Game Parlay of Caitlin to score 25+ points and the Fever to cover the -7.5 spread.
Best Bets: Caitlin Clark 25+ Points (+227) & Fever -7.5 (-102)
SGP Payout: +460 (DraftKings)
