• BetRivers Spreads. Similar to the moneyline pricing analysis, BetRivers also performed poorly in our spread betting study (5.50). BetRivers didn't earn the worst mark for any particular sport but it was consistently at the bottom of the list for all of them.
• BetRivers Totals. BetRivers did have a better performance with its totals pricing, ranking around the middle (5.37), ahead of brands like Caesars (5.41) and BetMGM (5.60), thanks for consistent but unremarkable scoring across all sports.

These pricing differences are most apparent when the moneylines get bigger. For example, BetRivers may have something like this:

Meanwhile, BetMGM might have:

Even though BetMGM has a slightly worse price on the Eagles, it has a much better price on the Jets, and overall there's less vig on this market than at FanDuel. Over hundreds of bets, that difference in vig starts to add up.

BetRivers is a bit overpriced compared to other sportsbooks, but it is worth keeping in rotation for the occasional better pricing options. While a generally reliable app, BetRivers has an outdated feel and some shortfalls in specific usability areas.
